A small scrape turned into a bigger fix

I ended up needing Bumper Scuff repair after a tight parking slip left a mark on my car, and I wanted it sorted before it got worse.

It happened near Sefton Park on a crowded day, where I saw the scuff while more info heading back from a quick errand. The mark looked minor initially, but closer up it was more obvious.

I started looking online that evening and came across AutoScratch after reading a few local mentions. The process seemed simple enough, so I sent over some photos of the damage and got a clear reply. Booking a time felt easy, and I picked a slot that worked with my plans.

On the day, the technician arrived right as arranged and walked me through what would happen. First, the area was carefully prepared to remove any dirt. Then came light sanding to smooth things out. A bit of filler was applied where needed before moving on to matching the paint, which I found surprisingly precise. After that, the paint was worked into the surrounding area so it did not stand out. Finally, everything was polished up to give it that smooth look. Watching the process step by step made it feel well handled.

By the end, the scratch was blended away nicely, and the panel looked even again. I liked how the whole thing was done at my place, which saved me a lot of hassle. It felt like a useful service for smaller issues like mine. That said, I could see it being more suited to minor cosmetic damage rather than anything too deep or structural. Overall, it solved my problem in a way that felt straightforward without turning into a bigger job than it needed to be.
